A UKSCA accredited Strength and Conditioning coach with an aptitude for improving sporting performance in both children and adults.
Having studied Sports Therapy at university my initial career route was to work as part of a sports team within the physiotherapy department. However, during my placement year with a professional rugby team my interest in sport became more performance focussed. The knowledge gained in my degree made the transition to Strength & Conditioning (and Personal Training) a natural one and this is a field I want to thrive in.
For the last 6 years I have worked with athletes of all ages (from primary school to University), in a variety of sports from grassroots to elite level. I have experience in coaching and/or providing S&C for Youth Athletics, American Football, Boxing, Netball, Tennis, Rugby and Football.
The earlier children are exposed to a variety of sports and high-quality strength and conditioning, the better chance they will have at succeeding in their chosen sport(s), this is a journey I am passionate about being part of and I believe all children should have access to. I often refer to myself as a big kid, I find that if you can build a rapport with the youth then you are more likely to get and retain their attention.
*Random Fact* I am a huge fan of Boxing and MMA, I regularly stay up to 5am watching fights and I am also a Level 2 England Boxing Coach
