About me:
My name is Daz Drake, I am 43 years old and I’m the Founder and Owner of Athletic Performance Academy (APA). I have been a professional coach since 2000 and specialise in youth fitness and Tennis. I have a MSc post graduate degree in Exercise Physiology, and I was one of the first 100 coaches in the country to become a UKSCA Accredited Strength & Conditioning Coach (2007).
Experience:
I have worked in British Tennis for 19 years as Head of S&C at Gosling Tennis Academy, and for 8 years have overseen operations across all APA sites. During my career I have been part of the journey of hundreds of players, helping them achieve their goals whether that be to go to American College, play at Junior Wimbledon, earn their first professional ranking point and even become World Number 1 (Timea Babos, CH WTA Doubles #1 2018; and Joe Salisbury, CH ATP Doubles #1 2022).
