Straight ahead Speed: In the video series I take you through all the drills I use to get my athletes as fast as possible. These drills cover Acceleration and Top Speed and will have your athletes smashing their PBs in their 5, 20 and 40m sprint times!
First step Speed: In this video series I share with you all the drills I use to help my athletes explode off the mark in any direction. This will help improve your athlete’s power scores such as their vertical jump, standing broad jump and medicine ball throws to new heights!!! It covers a range of exercises from plyometric jumps and throws with implements to starts over 5m to the front, to the side and to the rear.
Multi-Directional Speed: This video is all about how to change direction, an invaluable skill to learn and train if you work in most sports that involve constant changes of direction such as racquet sports, and field based sports such as football (soccer), rugby and basketball.
Sport Specific speed (Footwork): This video brings everything together to show you how you can apply many of the previously acquired skills to a more sport specific movement skill. I show case some of the most common drills I use with my Tennis Players to illustrate how training speed needs to reflect the demands of the sport. Many of these drills will be applicable to most sports.
All the videos take you through 4 LEVELS; Level 1 and 2 is for beginners, Level 3 is for improvers and Level 4 is for Advanced athletes.
